Amman Stock Exchange   The Amman Stock Exchange was established on March 11, 1999 as an independent, not-for-profit institution authorized to operate as a regulated market for the trading of securities in the Kingdom. On February 20, 2017, the Amman Stock Exchange was registered as a public joint stock company wholly owned by the government. The Amman Stock Exchange Company is considered the general and de facto legal successor to the Amman Stock Exchange. The Amman Stock Exchange is managed by a board of directors consisting of seven members appointed by the Council of Ministers, and a full-time CEO who manages and monitors the day-to-day business of the ASE.
